Bhai Lehna Ji heard one of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Sikhs, Bhai Jodha Ji, reading Jap Ji Sahib.
After the paat, Bhai Lehna Ji asked Bhai Jodha Ji "Who wrote this beautiful paat?". Bhai Jodha Ji told Bhai Lehna Ji that Guru Nanak Dev Ji had written this paat.
Bhai Lehna Ji set off at once to Kartarpur where Guru Nanak Dev Ji was staying.
Whilst going to Kartarpur, Bhai Lehna Ji met a man who was riding his donkey. Bhai Lehna Ji asked the man to take him to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The man got off his donkey and told Bhai Lehna Ji "Sit on the donkey and I will take you to Guru Ji". Bhai Lehna Ji refused at first but then eventually sat on the donkey.
When they reached Kartarpur, Bhai Lehna Ji thanked the man for taking him to the Gurdwara. The man went with his donkey and left Bhai Lehna Ji. Bhai Lehna Ji then went into the Darbar Sahib and did 'matha tek' (bowed down) to the Guru.
When Bhai Lehna Ji looked up, he realised that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the same man who had let him sit on the donkey and brought him here.
Moral of Story:
Guru Nanak Dev Ji themselves brings their Sikhs to the Darbar of the Guru.
The words of the Guru are really powerful.
Always see yourself as lower than everyone around you as Vaheguru is in everyone.
Put other people before yourself as Guru Ji did with Bhai Lehna Ji by letting him sit on the comfortable donkey.

In Kartarpur, Guru Nanak Dev Ji announced to the whole village “Tomorrow we will all go on a walk together”.
The next day, it was very windy. Without telling other people to follow him, Guru Ji quickly walked into the woods. The villagers were scared and thought that something was wrong so they began to follow Guru Ji. Some people decided not to follow.
Whilst people were following Guru Ji, they saw copper coins thrown on the ground. These were thrown by Guru Ji. Some people stopped following Guru Ji and started picking up the coins. These people then went home.
Those who carried on walking behind Guru Ji saw silver and gold coins on the ground. These were also thrown by Guru Ji. Some people stopped following Guru Ji and started picking up the coins. These people then went home.
Now, only Bhai Lehna Ji and a Yogi were following Guru Ji. They came to a smelly dead body lying on the road with a white sheet over it. Guru Ji was standing near the dead body.
Guru Ji said to Bhai Lehna Ji and the Yogi “Stop here, I want you to eat this dead body”. The Yogi refused but Bhai Lehna Ji asked, with his palms together, “Guru Ji, where shall I start? At the head or the toes?”.
Guru Ji yelled “Start in the middle!”. Bhai Lehna Ji went to the dead body and lifted the sheet up. Underneath the sheet was 'Karah Parshaad'. He picked up some of the Parshaad and offered it to Guru Ji first.
Guru Ji hugged Bhai Lehna Ji and told him "You are truly my own ang (body part)". From that day, Guru Nanak Dev Ji named Bhai Lehna Ji ‘Angad'.
Moral of Story:
Don't be fooled by Maya (worldly desires), always follow Guru Ji.
Always have full faith in Guru Ji and do everything that the Guru tells you.

Humayun was the 2nd Mughal Emperor. A few years after he became Emperor, in 1538, he lost a war against Sher Shah.
After this loss, he was no longer Emperor and Sher Shah became the new Mughal Emperor.
Humayun decided to meet a Holy person to get their blessings. He told the people with him "I will go to see the holiest person of them all, Guru Nanak Dev Ji".
The people told him "Guru Ji has left their physical form but passed on their Jot (light) to Guru Angad Dev Ji".
Humayun decided to go meet Guru Angad Dev Ji for his blessings and ask Guru Ji what to do.
Humayun went to the Darbar Sahib and remained on his horse, above Guru Ji, to show that he is higher than everyone else. Guru Angad Dev Ji was teaching children at the time and didn't even notice Humayun.
Humayun got angry at Guru Angad Dev Ji for making him wait so long. Humayun got off his horse and took out his sword to try to hurt Guru Ji. At this point, Guru Ji looked at Humayun and smiled. Guru Ji said “Where was your sword in the battlefield?”.
Humayun was shocked and realised Guru Ji knew he was there all along and that Guru Ji even knew why he was there. Humayun fell to his feet and asked Guru Angad Dev Ji for forgiveness.
Guru Ji told Humayun to be kind and helpful to people if he wanted to be Emperor again.
Humayun followed Guru Ji’s advice and after many years, Humayun became Emperor again.
Moral of Story:
If you follow Guru Ji then you will be happy and you will get what you ask for.
Never get angry at Guru Ji if something bad is happening to you. Instead, ask Guru Ji for advice by taking a hukamnama.
Guru Ji is aware of everyone's needs.
You can't hide anything from Guru Ji.
